✦ Relaxed shoulders: Roll them back, down, and away from your ears
✦ Engaged core: Draw your belly button in toward your spine for added stability
✦ Chest lifted: Helps with breathing and posture
✦ Neutral spine: Avoid arching or rounding your back
✦ Proper foot position: Ball of foot on the pedal; strap in or clip in securely
✦ Smooth pedaling: Think smooth circles, not stomping down
